Erasmus+ KA1 Readiness Audit & Grant Calculator

ErasmusScore is a free, interactive audit tool for Erasmus+ KA1 School Education projects. It covers two grant types: KA121 (accredited schools with an approved Erasmus Plan) and KA122 (non-accredited schools applying for a project-based mobility grant).

What the audit covers

The wizard asks 10–16 questions mapped directly to the evaluation criteria published in the Erasmus+ Programme Guide. For KA122 projects, scoring is based on five weighted pillars: Project Design & Relevance (25%), EU Priorities Alignment (20%), Impact & Dissemination (20%), Logical Framework (20%), and Feasibility & Management (15%). For KA121 accredited schools, the audit scores three institutional dimensions: Personnel Competency (max 6 points), Provider Quality (max 3 points), and Strategic Alignment (max 6 points).

Grant budget simulation

After completing the audit, the tool calculates an estimated mobility grant using the official EU rate tables from the Programme Guide Annexes: travel grant (Distance Band Table, Annex I), individual support (country-specific daily rates, Annex II), organisational support (€350 per participant), and course fees (€80/day for structured courses). Distance is calculated using the Haversine great-circle formula — the same method used by the European Commission's official Distance Calculator.

Course provider matching

Based on the selected destination country and activity type, the tool matches relevant Erasmus+ accredited course providers from a database of 20+ verified organisations operating across 25+ programme countries. Providers include structured course organisers, job-shadowing hosts, and language training centres.

Output

Users receive a personalised readiness score, a dimension-by-dimension breakdown, a precise grant budget estimate, gap analysis, and prioritised recommendations. An optional PDF strategic report is available by email — free, no account required. The full audit takes 4–6 minutes.
